Interim Services

An interim Service is ideal for vehicles used for short, mainly urban journeys or for those who wish to service vehicles doing very high mileage more regularly. An Interim Service every 6,000 miles or 6 months helps keep your car safe and roadworthy between full services. As part of our half services, an oil and filter change, level check and safety check, usually wheels will not be removed and air and fuel filters will not be replaced. There will always be differences with different cars. We also complete holiday and winter checks to make sure you are ready for all weather.

Full Services

A full service will usually include new oil and filter, new air filter and new fuel filter as well as plugs…unless the plugs are the long life type. There should be a level check of all fluids, checks on tyres, suspension and brakes, tyre pressures etc. There will be differences if the car is diesel, dependant on mileage.
A half service is basically an oil and filter change, level check and safety check, usually wheels will not be removed and air and fuel filters will not be replaced. There will always be differences with different cars.

Importance of servicing your Air conditioning system in Winter and Summer

In summer to keep the vehicle cool and in winter for its demisting properties.

A/c systems should be used every week 10/20mins to allow the oil to lubricate the seals.
A/c systems lose around 10 to 20% of refrigerant each year.
A/c systems should be serviced every 2 years.

All new models of vehicles from 2017 come with a new eco friendly gas 1234YF. We can provide both types of a/c gas 1234YF(new vehicles) and R134A (older vehicles) over time the a/c system can build up mold and bacteria producing bad odours. our a/c debug and cleaning process uses a special anti bacterial solution to remove bacteria and mold from the a/c system. this is included with the a/c service.
